Berlin is one of the most fascinating cities in Europe: it was the splendid heart of Prussian Empire, the European centre of avant-garde art in Golden Twienties, then infamous capital of Third Reich and the Cold War flashpoint… We discover the highlights of this amazing city: the Old Royal Boulevard, Museums Island, the famous Brandenburg Gate, Raichstag (Parliament), remains of the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie, a symbol of the Cold War.
Afternoon: at leisure. Evening (optionally) Classical concert in Charlottenburg Palace or one of the churches.Dinner in a typical Berlin inn.
Day 4 Potsdam and Sanssouci Palace • Berlin Life & Style tour • overnight in Berlin
Morning: We go to Potsdam, a beautiful town known as jewel of the Prussian Empire – it was a home of the most famous palaces and vast gardens that belonged to the kings and emperors. Here we visit the Sanssouci Palace built in the 18th century as summer residence of Prussian king Friedrich the Great. It is an outstanding example of rococo art and allows us to have a look into private life of the royal family. We also stroll around the beautiful gardens with numerous figures, fountains and the terraces. Return to Berlin .
Afternoon: Berlin Life & Style tour:Divided by the Wall for over 40 years Berlin created its unique style and culture. During the tour we see the coolest districts, street art and graffiti – the sites that give you the real spirit of Berlin. You have also chance to taste the local specialties like famous Curry Wurst, local beer and cakes from the best bakery in the city.
Day 5 Day at leisure in Berlin • overnight in Berlin
Morning: After break (lunch time) transfer to Prague.
Day 6 Transfer to Prague • Prague city tour • overnight in Prague
Morning: transfer to Prague. After check in time for lunch.
Afternoon: We enjoy guided tour of Prague, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe: we discover Hradczany with the Royal Castle, the Cathedral and picturesque Golden Lane where medieval alchemists used to live. We walk around cosy Mala Strana with tiny streets and art galleries. Lot of them sell hand made puppets that Prague is famous for. We also see the landmarks of the city: the Old Town Square, the unique Orloj clock and the Charles’ Bridge.

Evening (optionally): Mozart concert or Marionette Theater.
Day 8 Full day trip to Cesky Krumlov • overnight in Prague
Morning: We visit Cesky Krumlov, picturesquely located within meanders of the Veltava River. It was placed on UNESCO World Heritage List for its unique architecture and beauty and as an outstanding example of a central European small town dating from the Middle Ages. Here we walk around the historical centre with the huge chateau built on the rock overlooking the city. Here we stroll around the Old Town and visit the castle (the second largest in Czech Republic) with the unique Theatre still equipped with 18th century old lightings, curtains and costumes. Return to Prague.
Day 9 Pilsner Urquell Brewery • Bohemian Crystal factory • free time • dinner in a typical Prague style restaurant • overnight in Prague
Morning: We enjoy a relaxing trip to Pilsen where we visit one of the most famous breweries in the world. Here we discover the secrets of making the legendary Pilsner Urquell lager. Its history began in 1842 and was an inspiration for more than two-thirds of the beer produced in the world today, which are still called pils, pilsner, and pilsener. During the tour we also visit the historic brewery cellars where you can taste beer on tap straight from oak lager barrels! On the way to Prague we stop in a Glass Factory to see the whole process of the hand made glass production. The Czech Glass has had an extraordinary position in Europe since the Middle Ages. In the 18th century the transparent pure glass started to be melted in the Czech Lands and today is known as Bohemian Crystal.

Day 10 Transfer to Krakow via Kutna Hora • overnight in Krakow
On the way to Krakow we visit Kutna Hora, a beautiful medieval town, one of the royal residences famous for the silver mines. Here we see the magnificent Gothic Church of St. Barbara and the unique ossuary – a Baroque chapel built of human bones, to commemorate the victims of the epidemy. It is unusual example of Baroque devotion.
Day 11 City tour Krakow • free time • dinner with workshop of making dumplings • overnight in Krakow
Morning: We discover Krakow, for 600 years the capital of the Kingdom of Poland and one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe. We walk around Krakow Old Town and discover all its highlights: renaissance Royal Castle and the Cathedral with the royal tombs, Main Market Square – the largest medieval square in Europe, St. Mary’s Church famous for the biggest medieval altarpiece of Europe and the famous trumpeter.

Day 12 Zakopane & Tatra Mountains (full day) • lunch with folklore show • overnight in Krakow
Morning: We take a relaxing and scenic trip to Zakopane, known as a ski resort and winter capital of Poland, located in the foot of the Tatra Mountains. Tourists come to enjoy the views, traditional regional cuisine (yum!) and admire the Highlanders lively folklore. During the tour we see examples of traditional wooden architecture and the local market. On the way we also stop in Chocholow, a small village with perfectly preserved (and still inhabited) wooden cottages which are more that 100 years old. Here we see how traditional smoked cheese is made. Lunch in typical inn with folklore show.
Day 13 Day at leisure in Krakow • overnight in Krakow
Evening (optionally): 1 h tour of the Old Jewish quarter, where the film “The Schindler’s List” was made by Spielberg. Dinner with concert of Jewish Klezmer music.
Day 14 Departure
